tango salón: tango as danced in the milonga
show tango: tango for a public (this can be the same as tango salón, if one would choose to show tango salón to a public)

discussions about styles: thinking in terms of "styles" is looking to differences, is thinking with your analytical left side brain. If we think with our creative and emotional right side brain, we can appreciate the emotion in tango, that connects us all.
